
Golden Malabar Indonesia is located on Mount Malabar, in the southern part of Bandung, West Java. The area has a cool mountain climate, with temperatures ranging from 8°C to 28°C. Golden Malabar Indonesia manages an extensive area of approximately 3,200,670 square metres and operates a civet rehabilitation centre dedicated to maintaining the balance of the local civet population through responsible breeding and the release of civets back into the forest.
Golden Malabar has received multiple awards and recognitions from both national and international institutions. Its coffee has been Halal certified by MUI and has passed food safety testing by Sucofindo. Golden Malabar Indonesia also guarantees the 100% authenticity of its civet coffee.
In 2013 and 2014, Golden Malabar was consecutively awarded “The Best Coffee Farm” by the President of Indonesia. Golden Malabar Indonesia also received recognition from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for its contribution to environmental conservation.
In 2015, Golden Malabar Indonesia was appointed by the Indonesian government to provide its civet coffee and Arabica coffee as welcome beverages and local souvenirs for heads of state attending the 60th Asian-African Conference.
